My trip took an unexpected turn on Sunday morning. My grandfather, my Papa, Pedro Acosta Leon Guerrero, passed away at 530am on June 8th, 2008. God loaned Papa to us for a wonderful and rich 74 years, almost 75, and we are all so blessed to have been part of his life.
It's crazy the timing of it all. I am so happy to be home. At a time like this, being home and around family is the best comfort. Mateo and Karla should be flying home soon, as with the rest of the family.
Nightly rosaries are being held at Our Lady of Lourdes in Yigo.
