Sunday in Yigo

We've been going to Papa's and Nana's (my Dad's parents) in Yigo since they moved back to Guam. 15 years later...we're still a raucous group that enjoys story-telling, teasing each other, telling craseee island jokes, reminiscing, and of course EATING!!

This evening's menu was rice, pancit, fried chicken, Lia's family favorite "come and get it"--pork, cream of mushroom and corn--and what chamorro meal is complete without fine dine??!!!

In honor of my Auntie Kris's birthday, we told stories about her quirky habits back in the day. :)

(As a kid, she use to hide the meat on her plate with her rice. And when everyone was done with their's, she'd uncover her meat and eat it in front of her 5 drooling siblings! Gotta love it.)
